The University of West Georgia Athletic Foundation is extending an invitation to all Wolves fans to join a caravan to Mars Hill for next week's season opener between the Wolves and the Lions.
"We are excited about this new season and we want to show our support for our team both at home and on the road," says UWGAF Executive Director Matthew Clay. "This is the beginning of that, and I am excited to join other Wolves fans at Mars Hill next week."
Any UWG fan interested in joining the caravan is requested to meet in the parking lot of the UWG Athletic Operations Building at University Stadium next Saturday, Sept. 7 at 6:30 a.m. for a 7 a.m. departure. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. in Meares Stadium, which is a five hour drive from Carrollton, so anyone participating is encouraged to fill up their gas tank the night before.
