Profession: Currently the director of field-based preparation for COE and the COE coordinator for edTPA (statewide assessment). Received BS in early childhood education in 1981; M. Ed. in education in 1991; Taught in public schools for 20 years; coordinator of supervision for early childhood education from 2011 - 2013.
In Her Words: "As my 'academic home,' West Georgia has certainly provided opportunities for me to grow professionally over the years. My current position in the Office of Field-Based Preparation brings my journey in education full circle...working and placing teacher candidates for their field experiences in teacher preparation. These are the experiences that validated my choice of becoming a teacher many years ago. I am proud to be a part of UWG's College of Education working daily to prepare exemplary educators.
