WOLFstock, presented by the WOLF Internet radio, was held Wednesday, April 16, 2014, in Love Valley. The event began with a Spring Fling at 5 p.m., featuring prize giveaways including shirts, posters and keychains. A variety of bands began performing at 7 p.m.
The annual event is sponsored by the Mass Communications Society and featured an impressive lineup. DJ Reese, Patterson West and Death of Paris are only a few of the great up-and-coming artists that played at WOLFstock.
“DJ Showtime was really interesting, and I liked him a lot,” says Sid Sanford, a junior at UWG. “Everyone’s really great.”
WOLFstock goers also participated in many games including corn hole and laser tag, and even a mechanical bull was available for the most daring guests. For those wanting a more calm experience, a camel was on-site for petting and public viewing.
“This is a really great event for everyone to come out to,” says volunteer Larry Bell, who conducted the corn hole game and assisted in giving away prizes. “It is a great day and there is a lot being given away. I am a mass communications student and I am really happy to be a part of this event.”
