Paul ’44 (general) and Sara Davenport ’44 (general) Cadenhead celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. Their commitment to each other was confirmed Valentine weekend at the West Georgia College Valentine dance (during the war time when they knew they were parting) in 1944. Paul and Sara have been tremendous supporters of the university and still attend the ’30s/’40s annual reunion held on campus. They reside in Austell.
