On Tuesday, student organizations were invited to participate in the annual Homecoming Banner Contest outside of the University Campus Center. The Student Activities Council sponsors the contest in support of UWG’s Homecoming week.
Organizations on campus participated in the contest by painting banners that related to this year’s homecoming theme “Get A Clue. Go West!” The SAC instructed participants of specific guidelines to follow when creating the banners. The theme can be interpreted in a number of ways and must incorporate any mystery or clue games, movies or shows, West Georgia history, the “Go West” campaign or the history of the organization itself.
