This April the Alumni Association will launch a new online community, tagged AlumniDEN, to provide a virtual location to foster connections between alumni while allowing alumni more opportunity to share in blogs, classified ads, message boards, photos, etc. Alumni will also be able to submit class notes and update their records.
The new community replaces an older version that was provided through a contract with Harris Connect. The new and improved community is offered through a partnership with iModules.
As my colleague Kevin Hemphill ’07 explains, “AlumniDen is a whole new way to connect with other alumni as well as with the university as a whole. It provides many new features and modules that elevate it above and beyond our previous online community. It’s completely free and definitely worth exploring!”
I couldn’t agree with him more. Kevin, by the way, is our staff member who will manage the AlumniDen site.
Also, April is the launch of an important alumni survey. Survey participants will become eligible to win a Samsung Galaxy Tablet offered through the Alumni Association. Be sure to participate once the survey is announced.
When it launches you will need your alumni ID number to complete the registration process. Your ID number can be obtained by emailing us at alumni@westga.edu.
